Our Sioux/Cheyenne tipis allow tribal gatherings to achieve an authentic level. This conical structure is durable, provides warmth and comfort in winter and is cool in the summer. Used for powwows or encampments for those wishing to preserve and pass on their heritage traditions.

TIPI COMPONENTS

TIPI COVER is the exterior shell of the tipi and when combined with poles, make up the basic structure. The cover life depends on the quality of fabric selected as well as proper care and storage. We offer two choices of fabric to meet your budget and needs. 		10oz. NATURAL CANVAS is a single filled fabric that is breathable but susceptible to mildew and mold. This fabric has a shrinkage factor of up to 10% that may result in reducing the tipi diameter.

10oz. FIRE RETARDENT MARINE CANVAS is of a higher quality than natural canvas. It is breathable, water repellant, has a tighter weave and is treated for mold and mildew resistance. The flame retardent treatment has a CPA1-84 rating (a high California Fire Marshall spec.). Fabric shrinkage is minor.
